Good location with poor rooms

The rooms are very old, needs revamp very badly. The furniture, bathroom tiles & fittings are really old and need desperate upgrade. The pictures shown on the website are from the inauguration day of the hotel, currently nothing is even close to it, only well maintained part is the entrance & main reception lobby area. If you have booked through booking.com or other portals then they will give you the smallest room possible in that category! The breakfast is same for all 6 days, they only change the menu for Sunday which is very unusual & never heard, so think before you opt a room with breakfast.

Location was the only good part.

No tissue box in the Room, No complementary toothbrush and toothpaste, Bathroom door couldn’t get shut well so the water was just flowing in the whole bathroom. AC was noisy and could hear the people next door.

It´s all about appearance in the glamurous lobby but all gone when you enter the rooms.

As stated above, but clearly the location and certainly the staff, always very helpful

The cleaning of the rooms is just not good. It is in certain need of refurbushing as you can tell, even from the odour, that it has become creeping old furniture and worn out of walls, curtains, tiles... Very disappointing the misalignment between the splendorous lobby and the poorly mantained rooms and cleaned (with hairs in the shower, and corridors and common areas leading to the bedrooms, dust in drawers and behind the bed, dirty walls,...).

Disappointing.

Location is good. Swimmimg pool is good one. See off by the doorman with great turban was well appreciated.

Response from front office persons was worst of all. " Go ask booking.com" was the answer given to me when i was misinformed about possibility of extra bed in the room. i did upgrade to junior suit to accommodate my daughter. And it was horrible. Bathroom floor was clogged with water and quality of house keeping was very disappointing. When i requested for bedmaking of the sofa cum bed, one person came to just give two bedsheets and a pillow without cover and left without even bothering to pull the bed out from frame. Phone lines to different services were non existent. I stayed earlier in the same hotel several times when it was managed by Ramada group and present management team is a far cry from the previous one. By the way See off by the doorman with big turban was good and we left with some good feeling about the place.

The reception and counter staffs are not friendly. The price is expensive but it is so small room. The staff should be more welcoming the guests, especially the female staffs.

Asking extra for ice and longer stay while checked out and checked in time 2pm which is too late, A/C un controlable, poor service internet , food is too expensive. Room price high.

All in all an ok

Located in the centre near Uttam Nagar it’s an old hotel .One should see the ornately designed ceiling and the lobby decor to appreciate it .The PIANO is also an antique one and works great . On cleanliness front they need to improve definitely . I saw torn condom pack outside in room lobby lying there for more than six hours !!!

Cleanliness , Details about things to keep inside room like slippers , toiletries etc . The night club first they told bit will open at ten pm and when I went at ten fifteen they told it will open at eleven pm , what is this ???? Do you need to stay up all night to shake your leg with music ????

Did the job, the staff was nice.

The room was small but clean. Staff was very helpful in helping us to arrange tours and guides, and was much appreciated.

WiFi was terrible. Pretty much could not use it in the room, and they had wanted to charge us for it. Gave it to us in the end, but wondering if what they gave us was the "bad WiFi to shut up disappointed guests"

Location was good - centrally located nothing else here is attractive

Room was not good - very small and uncomfortable. Breakasft - menu was alright but staff attending on the customers was disgusting, ordered for masala omlette got plain nomlette, asked for Tea to 4 waiters but got it after 20 mins, no one really cares here

Disappointing

Booked it for 4 nights ... checked out after one night .. very dusty rooms even after they changed our room 3 times .

The entrance is very warm and grand and inviting ....but the bedrooms all need refurbishments. They don’t provide water bottles in the rooms, only filtered water in jugs !! Which I wasn’t happy with .. even the 3 star hotels provide bottled water ! Overall I was disappointed even though I was recommended this hotel .
